Somehow, someway, Jason will find Noah the most unique and clever gift ever. A gift that will surprise him, and win his heart.
A gift that just might be magic.
If only that Dave guy would stop getting in the way...

(A contemporary gay romance story)

The Douglas Fir edition by Anyta Sunday Romance eBooks

Anyta Sunday manages to write books that catch your heart as well as catching your breath. This one was no different, but also was entirely different. The characters were real. They were endearing and flawed. And while the ending is my favorite if happily ever after, it is surely not expected. Sorry for being vague, but the plot is too precious to give away in a review.

The Douglas Fir edition by Anyta Sunday Romance eBooks Reviews

cute story, great writing as usual from anyta, love all her books. this was a great shorter read, well worth the price. great transition of feelings by the main character, ended up with who he should. very sweet and thoroughly enjoyable.
Loved this story. I loved the magic of Jason's gift. And that Noah wound up helping with it. I was surprised by the twist in the middle. But Ms. Sunday brought it all together in the end. Highly recommend this book.
A cute holiday read with a slight twist at the end. Although it does seem Noah is sending many mixed signals.
I continue to be a huge fan of Anyta's writing. This little gem is free right no on and it's such a wonderful and surprising and sweet holiday treat. I don't want to spoil the plot, so I'll not say anything about it, but it's a really lovely story that has a few unexpected twists and turns right up until the end. Highly recommended.
The magic of love. It's not always so straightforward, or easy as one hopes. Sometimes it's hard work every week, for months. Digging in dirt, splashing in water, hopping a fence or two... love doesn't always hit you like a bolt of lightning, sometimes you simply realize it's warmth has built into something special... like magic.

I loved this book, as I do all of Sunday's books. It was full of wonderful humour, fun believable characters, and a real way of viewing love and relationships. Although, every once in a while I'm jealous of how wonderful some of these amazing characters are. I mean, Jase is so dedicated and sweet! A great read!
This is a story about family, about friends, about life, and wanting to move a friendship into a relationship. Jace is attracted to his friend Noah but can't express or tell him that. Either the timing is wrong or he can't handle a spontaneous 'coming out'. Or shyness. Then there's Jace's other friend Dave. So yes this is a story of men wanting to win the one they love. It's not really a love triangle.

There were a lot of wonderful themes to this story. Jace learning a new skill thinking that would make him more loveable. Dave being understanding and supportive when he doesn't need to be. Noah being Noah. The magic of wishing and making dreams come true. The story spans a year and a lot can happen. And no mention of girlfriends so then I have to wonder if Noah is gay or is he straight?

Like another reviewer I thought the ending was a bit abrupt. Jace goes from this shy fumbling to bold and dominate. His personality takes a big turn and there wasn't any clue who he'd go alpha on. Settling for second best? After re-reading the ending I understood a bit better but there weren't any clues up to that point. Anyway, a wonderful book and I enjoyed it. - Dan's Wife
A sweet romance that is a different kind of Christmas story. Three quarters into the story it takes a little turn that leaves doubt about how it would end. The characters (pets included) are well written. I did get lost at times. The story takes strange leaps forward and the ending is abrupt. I was confused at first about who had a brother. It's the gaps in the story that keeps from being a first rate story. Like it was over edited. Filling the odd gaps would make the story smoother. And extending the ending, for the other characters a thumbs up to the match, would give the story a Christmas glow.
